What is a Statement of Use?

A Statement of Use is a document that must be filed with the United States Patent & Trademark Office to maintain a LIVE status of your trademark. A proper Statement of Use must be filed to avoid abandonment.

When do I file a Statement of Use?

You must file your Statement of Use (1) within 6-months after the issuing date of your Notice of Allowance and (2) a Statement of Use must be filed between the 5th - 6th year subsequent to registration date.

What is the Government Fee?
