The average wait time, if everything goes accordingly, is 6 months for an attorney from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to look over your application. You will receive a serial number about 2 months after filing. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will either issue a Certificate of Registration (if you are already using the trademark) or a Notice of Allowance (if you intend to use the mark).
